LONDON: Pakistani High Commissioner in London has been allowed to meet Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain, ARY News reported on Thursday.
British authorities have granted consular access to MQM chief Altaf Hussain who has been in London Police detention.
Pakistan’s Acting High Commissioner in London Imran Mirza has reached hospital to meet Altaf Hussain who has been admitted at a hospital for medical tests.
Pakistan had requested to the British authorities for consular access to the MQM leader.
London Police on Tuesday taken the MQM leader in custody under money laundering charges.
According the Scotland Yard Altaf Hussain was being treated at a hospital under police custody.
