Pakistan informs UN of concerns over construction of wall along LoC

Pakistan’s permanent representative to the UN, Dr Maliha Lodhi in a letter to the UN Security Council drew its attention towards this Indian conspiracy.

She stated that the neighboring country tends to construct a 197-km-long and 135-ft-wide wall along the LoC and hence silently converting it into a permanent border.

Lodhi mentioned that the Indian-held Kashmir has been referred to as disputed territory in several of UN resolutions and so the construction of a wall along the LoC will be a violation of these resolutions.

The Pakistani diplomat expressed serious concerns on behalf of her country over the construction of this wall.

She clarified that Pakistan will not tolerate any such build-up.
