Pakistan selection committee sets Aug 25 deadline for Oscar nomination

The Pakistan Academy Selection Committee has set August 25 as the deadline for Pakistani film makers to submit their films for Oscar award’s nomination in the ‘Foreign Language Film Award’ category, for the 87th Academy Awards.

Following the announcement filmmakers can submit their films for the Oscar consideration in above mentioned category. The Pakistan Academy Selection Committee after reviewing the submission will send films for Oscar nomination.

The announcement of the official nomination will be made by Pakistan selection committee on September 15.

Previous year selection committee had sent four movies to Oscars which includes Zinda Bhaag, Chambeli, Josh and Lamha.
