According to details, Pakistan has apprised United States (US), Russia, China, France, United Kingdom and Germany of India’s subversive activities inside Pakistan.
Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry formally apprised world powers of Indian-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said Pakistan will also seek assistance from Iran with regard to the investigations against the RAW operative.
He said that the arrest of RAW agent substantiated foreign involvement in causing unrest in Balochistan.
Earlier, India admitted that Kulbhushan Yadav, a RAW agent arrested from Balochistan yesterday, was an officer in its navy, however said that the government has nothing to do with him.
Vikas Swarup, a spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs, however, admitted that Kulbhushan Yadav is a former officer of the Indian navy.
“He (Yadav) acquired premature retirement from the Indian navy and since then the government has nothing to do with him,” he said.
It is pertinent to note here that Pakistani security agencies on Thursday apprehended an ‘on-duty RAW agent’ from Balochistan. The suspect was said to be an officer of the Indian navy working for the covert agency to destabilize Pakistan.
He started working for RAW in 2013 and was to retire from navy in 2022. Yadav, who was living in Pakistan with a name of Hussain Mubarak Patel, used to enter into Balochistan through Iran, where he was posted since 2003.
The operative had contacts with banned organizations and was working on plans to break Karachi and Balochistan away from Pakistan, and to sabotage the billion dollar China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
