The second ODI was previously scheduled on Wednesday at Colombo’s Premadasa Stadium, which was advanced by a day to Tuesday, due to heavy rain at the venue.
Ideal weather conditions is forecast for the duration of the match with the strong winds while it is expected that seamers may find something in the pitch under lights as well.
Following the victory in the first ODI, Pakistan now have the chance to inflict a successive ODI series loss on the hosts, after South Africa beat them 2-1 last month. Sri Lanka have lost five out of the nine completed matches they have played against Full-Member opposition in Hambantota.
