Pakistan wants to continue joint efforts with US in war on terror: Aizaz

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Ambassador to the United States Aizaz Chaudhary has urged the US to avoid any way of clash with Pakistan regarding war on terror.

“Pakistan wants to continue joint efforts with United States in war against terror,” he said in an interview on Sunday.

He said that Pakistan had fully supported the US in war against terrorism in Afghanistan and the US was still using the western route and “this is evident that Pakistan has played its due role in this war.”

Aizaz said that the US Administrations had released 14 billion dollars in Coalition Support Fund as reimbursement which was already incurred by Pakistan.

He said that US 8.2 billion dollars were provided to Pakistan as security assistance but Pakistan had already spent 123 billion dollars besides loss of precious lives of Pakistanis including civilians.
