Pakistani actor-writer Syed Sajid Hasan recently underwent a hair transplant and it went dreadfully wrong, resulting in harrowing infection on his head. The actor himself shared his video, appealing anyone looking out for the same surgery to consult the ‘right surgeon’.
In a video message, Hasan narrated his ordeal how he got into the agonizing condition. According to him, his old acquaintance, a medical doctor, had been convincing him for years to get a hair transplant done from him. He accepted the plea around two months ago.
Hasan said that a day after the transplant process began, he fell sick and suffered an infection on his head as well as severe fever for 10 days.
He added that during this ordeal, he was not in his consciousness for 15 days however, even then the doctor did not consider it a big deal and “kept cleaning the wound with saline water”.
In the video then, Hasan bows his head and shows the wound inflicted on the top of his head during the surgery, saying “Now, this is the current situation. I am suffering a lot, for his (doctor’s) negligence and not cleaning the wound (properly). So is my family. I have been facing extreme problems for the last two months and suffered professionally also.”
He made the video, saying he wanted to spread awareness about the disastrous consequences of hair transplant. He urged others to consult a ‘right surgeon’ and do a lot of research and warned that post-surgery result could be too damaging if you approach a wrong guy.
