This is according to film director Imran Malik, son of the veteran director Pervaiz Malik, who also disclosed that shooting for the film had started in the northern areas of Pakistan.

The yet untitled film stars Danish Taimoor and Sonya Hussain who will be seen on-screen together for the first time. The film also stars veteran actor Nadeem Baig in a crucial role, and also includes actors Mariam Ansari and Irum Mazhar.

Danish Taimoor has worked in several dramas and in films such as Jailabee and Wrong No. His co-star Sonya Hussain found fame with the critically acclaimed film ‘Moor’.

Director Imran Malik has promised to introduce five new heroes and also feature a big supporting cast but has refused to provide further details.

“The film has elements of patriotism, a very powerful love story, some action scenes – a film has never been attempted on such a big canvas in Pakistan before,” says Malik.

From the looks of an Instagram post by Danish Taimoor, the movie is likely to be an ARY Films project. Renowned films such as Jawani Phir Nahi Aani, Wrong Number, Ho Mann Jahaan and Jalaibee are some of the blockbuster films from last year that were released under the banner of ARY Films.

However, he did reveal that Ben Jasper, a cinematographer from Australia is also working on the project. The film will also have opening scenes and a few songs which will be set in London.

The musical soundtrack for the film is composed by Sahir Ali Bagga, whereas Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan and Quratulain Baloch would also contribute with some of their songs as well.

Produced by Imran’s brother Irfan Malik, the film is expected to release by late 2016.
