BAHAWALPUR: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday said Pakistan’s fate was going to be decided on Wednesday, ARY News reported.
“Go to polling stations with your eyes open on July 25. Do not think about your community or family, instead consider for the country and ideology only,” he said while addressing a public rally in Bahawalpur.
Pointing towards the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), he said those who had been taking turns in power would see the tables turning. Anyone who would not vote was living a selfish life, he added.
Imran announced to begin accountability from himself to eradicate corruption from Pakistan.
“A system of tyranny and injustice cannot work. 75 percent population of Sindh is living under the line of poverty. The PML-N and PPP couldn’t curb corruption during their tenures, how will they do it now?
“When a society takes a stand against injustice, it paves a way forward for itself. A country’s debt is a burden on the people. It is the people who have to pay for debt servicing,” he said.

The PTI chief promised to pull the nation out of the swamp of taxes.
“Taxes have been hiked because taxpayers’ money has been looted instead of being spent on them.”
Mentioning a number of things PTI’s manifesto promises to address, he said the PTI would prioritise South Punjab when after coming to power and will reform the institutions to ensure accountability.
“Our party will empower the farmers, build Bhasha Dam and work for conservation of water,” he said.
“Our manifesto includes a special package for the farmers. The PML-N has committed economic killing of our farmers and peasant. Our farmers face water shortages and all other kinds of agro problems.”
