Pakistan’s Women Cricket Team return home after winning gold

Captain Sana Mir, speaking to media at National Cricket Academy, said that she congratulates the nation for the victory in Asian Games. She said that the matches were not easy due to fear of upsets but the team effort paved the way through.

The women’s team captain complained that the government had promised them a stadium in 2010 which has not been fulfilled as of yet.

She also said that no match was taken lightly and the team won the games with team effort.

Coach Mohtashim Rasheed said that new players will get chance to play in the national team as the domestic structure of the sport is strong and will bring new talent in the country.
