ISLAMABAD: Calling the Panamagate investigation report ‘Imran-nama’ (cooking up evidences on his whims), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Abid Sher Ali on Wednesday rubbished the report findings against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, ARY News reported.

Coming down hard on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, he said that the PTI chairman fears his arrest on attending Supreme Court’s hearing in references against him. “If he is so brave, why is he reluctant to attend any hearing session,” he questioned.

“PTI chief Imran Khan is a born liar and fraud,” he thundered.

He alleged Imran Khan’s father was convicted in corruption cases who embezzled hefty amount of money from state institutions. “Imran Khan studied at Oxford University at his father’s expense who accumulated wealth through corruption,” Sher Ali further alleged.

Declaring the Joint Investigation Team (JIT)’s report as trash, he said the report encompasses statements and allegations of Imran Khan against the premier in the form of investigation findings.

“JIT report is Imran-nama and we will contest its findings in the court and [we will] not allow ball tampering in democracy [democratic system],” he said.

He also lashed out at Babar Awan for filing disqualification reference against Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif while calling him “thug of Nandipur”.
