PCB chief hints at appointment of interim coach

The PCB chief hinted at appointment of coach on interim basis before hiring a permanent coach.

He also said that bowling action test of all-rounder Muhammad Hafeez will be conducted on July 8.

Reports going rounds that the PCB had decided in principle to appoint ex-Australian cricketer and commentator Dean Jones as Pakistan team coach.

Jones also coached the Islamabad United in the inaugural PSL earlier this year that also won the title.

However, PCB says no decision has been taken as yet.
