Peace can only be restored through talks, says Siraj ul Haq

PESHAWAR: Newly elect Ameer of Jamat e Islami (JI), Siraj ul Haq has said that a dialogue is the only way of restoring peace in the country – ARY News reports.

Addressing the Peace Conference here on Thursday, Siraj ul Haq urged the Federal Government of Pakistan to hold the second round of talks with Taliban representatives there in Islamabad.

He further demanded the Federation to compensate Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and tribal areas, for the losses they met due to terrorism.

Siraj further paid a tribute to JI KP chapter, for the successful conduct of the Peace Conference and enlightening the issues of the province and adjacent tribal region.
