PEMRA should be ashamed of themselves: Imran Khan

Addressing to the participants of Azadi March in Islamabad tonight, Imran Khan said western countries are progressing today because of true democracy.

“In western countries even animals enjoy more rights as compare to the people of Pakistan”, he added.

Imran Khan said PTI’s struggle is for true democracy where everyone can enjoy full rights.

ARY News suspension

Speaking about PEMRA’s decision of suspending license of ARY News, Imran Khan said PEMRA should be ashamed of such kind of illegal actions.

He said democracy ensures freedom of speech unlike dictatorship.

“Democracy didn’t allow one to restrict media from bringing truth to the people”, said Imran.

PTI Chief has invited Mubashir Lucman and ARY News to carry out their programs from his container.

He warned PM Nawaz that such kind of actions will make his situation even worse.

Criticizing the authority’s decision to suspend license of ARY News, Imran Khan said PEMRA has now become Gullu Butt.

To Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

Imran Khan reiterated that he will admit PPP patron-in-chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as a leader only if he [Bilawal] makes his father to declare assets.

“No one can become a leader with speeches rather one can lead by setting examples”, he added.
