LAHORE: National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Sunday said it was feared that some people wanted to shed blood on October 30 in Islamabad. We would not let this attempt be successful, ARY News reported.

He said parliamentarians should come to the parliament to put their stance before people instead of resorting to agitation, which harmed national development.

Without naming Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party, Ayaz Sadiq said ‘the agitators’ will not find a lock to shut down Islamabad. One should not use force against the democratic government and let the democracy function.

It should be noted that PTI has announced to shut down Islamabad on 30th October to protest against the federal government and pressing for its demand of investigation against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif related to Panama Leaks.

“Those who believe in the politics of sit-in should think about interest of the country,” he said while talking to newsmen in Lahore.

The speaker said all the political parties, except one, were united in the parliament on the Kashmir issue, and a strong message was sent to India.

He said the prevailing situation demanded unity among the political forces against the Indian aggressive designs, not attempts to create instability in the country. However, he vowed, the government will not let succeed these attempts or any conspiracy against China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

“I wanted PTI to come to the parliament and every member of their party speaks to send the message to the world that all Pakistani political parties are united on the issue of Kashmir,” he said.

To a question, Ayaz Sadiq said India’s false claims of surgical strike have been exposed, and now people even within India are questioning about this drama.

Rana Sana warns against any detestable agenda

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah in a separate press conference in Faisalabad warned that any detestable agenda against Pakistan would not be tolerated.

He said a London plan is being hatched to hinder China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

The provincial minister said those who are doing the politics of sit-in and protests are in fact trying to malign Pakistan. He said closing of Islamabad is tantamount to close the whole country.
