Police and Bomb Disposal Squad personnel rushed to Peshawar’s Mufti Mahmood Flyover after the law enforcement officials were reported about presence of a hand grenade at the flyover.
The bomb disposal personnel, without any safety kit, managed to defuse the explosive and save the city from a terror bid. The administration, on the other hand, has claimed that all security measures were taken before de-fusing the bomb.
Security officials have said that the terrorists wanted to spread panic and fear by carrying out terrorist attacks near Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and other key government buildings.
