It is contended in a petition, filed by Barrister Zafarullah Khan, that August 14 is a national independence day where Pakistanis across the world mark this day with jingoism.
“Independence day is a very important for any country, however Imran Khan has announced protest march on the said day that may lead to anarchy in the country,” argued in a petition.
The petitioner contended that such a march on Independence Day would tarnish Pakistan’s image internationally. He sought court directions for stopping PTI’s march on August 14.
