PFA raids illegal slaughterhouses in Lahore, arrest six persons

In yet another raid led by PFA Director Operations Ayesha Mumtaz, the team raided two illegal slaughterhouses in the area of Goray sha road, Kachi Abadi, Shaja Colony.

The raiding team detected uncontrolled slaughtering of the female animals. Fake stamps of Lahore Meat Processing Company as well as used injection of oxytocin were also found from the slaughter house.

Ghee extracted from intestine & refused animal fat were found on top roof of one of the illegal slaughter houses. The PFA team lodged FIR against the accused persons. While six were arrested during the raid.
