LAHORE: Pakistan’s former football team captain, Kaleemullah has landed himself in trouble as he signed for a Turkey club, Izmirspor without getting No Objection Certificate from the Pakistan Football Federation.
Kaleemullah was called by the federation to report in the training camp ahead of Pakistan’s tour to Bahrain, which was their first international tour after almost three years.
However, sources told that the former skipper preferred the club over national duty, which is why he will be handed over a show cause notice.
The most prolific football player of recent times of Pakistan, signed a deal of Rs 50 lac with the Turkish club.
