PIA hikes one-way tickets for business class flights

According to reports, there has been an increase of Rs. 5000/- in the one-way ticket for PIA’s business class flights.

Sources said that that the prices for the tickets have been hiked to recover the losses which were faced by PIA’s joint action committee during the protest against the national airliner’s privatization back in February.

The new rates have been applied from the April 1st.

PIA’s ticket fare for Lahore and Islamabad have been increased from Rs. 17,800 to 18,800 after an increase of Rs. 1000/- while the ticket cost for business class flights have jumped to Rs. 33,000 from Rs. 30,000.

Several passengers, who had booked already their flights before the first of April, exchanged heated words with the staff of the national airliner.
