PlayStation Store releases 2016 top charts

PlayStation (PS) Store has released charts of the most downloaded games of 2016.
“It was a pretty fantastic year for games, but you will never guess what the most downloaded game at PlayStation Store was this year,” said a PS statement.
The top 2016 game has been named ‘Rocket League’.
Rocket League, also a winner or nominee of more than 150 ‘Best of 2015’ awards, including Game of the Year, Best Sports Game, and Best Multiplayer Game, combines soccer with driving in an unbelievable physics-based multiplayer-focused sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars! Choose from a variety of high-flying vehicles equipped with huge rocket boosters to score amazing aerial goals and pull off incredible, game-changing saves!
The PS statement said: “Psyonix’s supersonic acrobatic take on vehicular sporting continues to delight — even though it launched in 2015 (free for PS Plus members, even!) it garnered more downloads than anything else on our network. Impressive!”
