According to details, a citizen named Arshad Butt filed an application in the Margalla police station on Tuesday, seeking the name of Mir Shakilur Rehman, owner of Geo/Jang group, to be placed in the Exit Control List (ECL).
The application stated that different courts in Pakistan have declared Mir Shakil a proclaimed offender, while he is also wanted to police in numerous cases.
The applicant took the stance that Mir Shakilur Rehman is currently staying in Islamabad and the court has also issued his arrest warrant, so the accused should be arrested and his name should also be put on the ECL.
