KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Local Government Saeed Ghani said on Saturday more than 175 buses will shuttle spectators back and forth from the National Stadium where the first of the last eight matches of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season is going to be played today (Saturday).

Speaking to the media after visiting the stadium to review the arrangements, he said parking lots set up for cricket fans to park their vehicles have been named after the PSL franchises.

The parking areas have been provided with all basic facilities, including dispensary, potable water, CCTV cameras and walkthrough gates, the minister said, adding large TV screens have also been set up there.

He said every possible effort would be made to ensure that spectators won’t have to face any difficulty.

Ghani said making arrangements on such a large scale was a big challenge and responsibility. “We are trying hard to rose to the challenge in a better way.”

The international players who had previously hesitated to come to Pakistan have come this time around, he said, adding that whichever teams wins the PSL, the victory will be ours.
