He said that the World Bank has assured cooperation in scores of development projects in Pakistan.

The premier earlier met United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon and other important international figures during his visit to the United States.

Sharif is expected to deliver a speech in the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly today.
