About the Pakpattan incident, the PM said that now that the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) has taken a suo motu notice of the incident, the matter will be resolved.

A journalist working for a private media channel reported on August 20 that soon after taking charge as PM, Imran Khan demanded from the PM House staff to produce the record of Nawaz-era expenses but was told that the PML-N supreme leader paid expenses incurred on his family from his own pocket.

“As he couldn’t believe what the PM House staff claimed, he was shown the cheques Mian Nawaz Sharif submitted to pay the expenses,” the journalist had said.
