PM Nawaz falls ill, not traveling Islamabad: spokesman

According to a spokesman, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif suffering from fever due to an infection in his leg. He added that the premier will not be traveling to Islamabad tomorrow.

The prime minister, who is currently in Lahore, had to travel to Islamabad tomorrow (Tuesday) morning but due to an infection in one of his leg incisions, he is suffering from fever, the spokesperson said.

The doctors are treating the prime minister’s infection and he will travel to Islamabad as soon as his fever subsides, the spokesman said.

Nawaz arrived in Pakistan on Saturday after undergoing open-heart surgery at a London hospital on May 31.

It should be noted that Nawaz Sharif had returned to Pakistan from United Kingdom on 9th July 2016 after undergoing a successful open heart surgery in London.
