PM Nawaz inaugurates Uch Power Plant-2

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif while inaugurating the Uch Power Plant-2, has expressed his firm belief that the long standing darkness will not last long now – ARY News reports.

The Prime Minister told that an additional 400 megawatts of electricity will be induced in the national system, from the Uch Power Plant-2 and the Government has a top priority of ending the persisting energy crisis in the country, for which it is working on several long-term power projects.

He thanked the French company, GDF Suez for cooperating in the accomplishment of this new power project and also welcomed investment for the Gaddani wind-power project.

PM Nawaz said that Balochistan was neglected in the past, but now it will not happen again and after this new power plant, the overall production capacity of Uch Power Plant will become 990 megawatts.
