KARACHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali to move immediately to Karachi to monitor the situation in the metropolis after brazen attack on Karachi airport that claimed several lives, ARY News reported on Monday.
Interior Minister is expected to meet with top security officials and will later address a press conference.
Nisar is expected to reach Karachi this evening. The interior minister will be briefed over the terrorist attack on Karachi airport. A report on the incident will also be submitted to him.
Chaudhry Nisar will address a press conference after meeting top army, rangers and police officials.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the terrorists wanted to destroy the aviation infrastructure. He also urged for the measures to ensure preventing such incidents in future.
