PM Nawaz to meet British counterpart today

According to the Foreign Office (FO), Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif left for the United Kingdom (UK) on the special invitation of British PM David Cameron.
PM Sharif, on the state visit, will meet British PM Cameron along with other leaders and trade executives of the country.
FO further stated that the Pakistani premier will also participate in the National Commemoration of the Centenary of Gallipoli Campaign and ANZAC Day where he will interact with other participating leaders and dignitaries.
The ongoing political situation in Yemen is also likely to be discussed by the two prime ministers.
The Pakistani PM, speaking to media after his arrival here in London, said that Pakistan and Britain are close friends and the two countries have good bilateral relations.
He denied that Saudi government did not hand him any wish-list during his visit to Saudi Arabia.
“Saudi Arabia is a brotherly country and we are ever-ready for protecting it”, he said.
Sharif added that the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Pakistan was delayed due to the sit-ins of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) in Islamabad.
