PM Nawaz visits GHQ, meets General Sharif

The prime minister was presented with guard of honour on arrival to the GHQ.

Defence Minister Khwaja Asif, Adviser to PM on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar accompanied the PM on his visit to the GHQ.

PM Nawaz also visited the monument of martyred army personnel. He paid tribute to army and those martyred in the line of duty.

Nawaz also inquired on operation Zarb-e-Azb and praised army for its progress in operation against militants so far.

The prime minister heaped praise on armed forces for their sacrifices for national defence.
