LAHORE: President Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab Qamar Zaman Kaira on Sunday said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s going home was imminent, ARY News reported.

He warned that if the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) workers were not barred from abusive language towards the PPP then they would have to face the repercussion as PPP also knew the ruling party’s secrets.

“The prime minister has repeatedly lied to the nation. Now he must go home,” he said while talking to media after attending Chehlam of slain PPP leader Babar Sohail Butt.

A large number of PPP leaders and relatives of the slain leader were also present on the occasion.

This should be noted that the Supreme Court of Pakistan has announced formation of the joint investigation team in the anxiously-awaited verdict of the Panama Papers case that will probe offshore properties of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s family.

The JIT will decide the matter in a stipulated period of 60 days.

Babar Sohail Butt was gunned down at his residence in March in an alleged targeted killing.

Brother of the former PPP ticket holder has alleged that the chief minister of Punjab was providing shelter to the culprits.
