Nawaz Sharif said the people would be provided education, health and other facilities of life. The prime minister said he would personally monitor it, Radio Pakistan said in a report.

He said that the benefits of development would be transferred to the masses in the next two years. Nawaz Sharif said mega development projects pertaining to gas, electricity and infrastructure will be completed by 2018.

He reiterated power outages would come to an end during the next two years.

The Prime Minister said the last phase of local government elections will be completed by May.

Chief Minister and Governor of Punjab were also present on the occasion.
