According to details, a six-member delegation of the MQM called on the prime minister today to convey their concerns on Karachi Operation.
PM Sharif, in the meeting, reiterated the operation is not against any political party.
“The Karachi Operation will not just restore peace in megapolis, but it will have far-reaching effects on the entire country,” he asserted.
The MQM delegation was headed by Dr Farooq Sattar which expressed deep concerns over arrest of party activists in Karachi Operation.
The delegation included Kunwar Naveed, Wasim Akhtar, Barrister Saif and others.
On the other hand, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman, Information Minister Pervez Rasheed, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Akram Khan Durrani accompanied the premier during the meeting.
