ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr along with immediate family in London, ARY News reported.

While speaking to reporters after offering Eid prayers at a mosque of Pakistan High Commission in London, the premier expressed deep sorrow over the loss of more than 125 lives in the oil tanker fire incident in Baha walpur and said the incident was the worst of its kind.

The prime minister has decided to conclude his stay in London and return to Pakistan today.

While commenting on the latest multiple terrorist attacks in Parachinar and Quetta, PM Sharif said terror activities have reduced significantly.

“Given the passion and commitment of the security forces, terrorism will soon be eliminated from the entire country,” he reiterated.

The premier said that the Nation Action Plan was being implemented in letter and spirit and operations were being carried out across the country to combat terrorism. “The security situation has relatively improved when compared to the situation prevailing in 2013,” he added.

After performing Umrah and spending the last days of the holy month of Ramazan in Saudi Arabia, the prime minster arrived in London on Saturday to undergo medical check-up and celebrate Eid with his family.
