PM Sharif to leave for Kuwait on two-day state visit

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will leave for a two-day state visit to Kuwait on Monday.

According to Radio Pakistan, PM Sharif will be accompanied by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi, Chairman Board of Investment Miftah Ismail and Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

PM Sharif will meet the Kuwaiti leadership for a thorough review of various aspects of the bilateral ties between the two countries during the two-day visit.

Delegation level talks will be held between the Pakistani premier and Kuwait’s Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

The progress under various existing agreements and memorandum of understandings in various fields will also be reviewed by the leadership of the two countries.

Prime Minister Sharif is also expected to attend and address the gatherings of Kuwaiti investors along with members of Pakistani community residing in Kuwait.
