PM urges Punjab govt to adopt innovative methods in governance

LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday urged the Punjab government to adopt innovative methods in governance.

“The provincial government should pay its full attention on bringing about a significant change in the common man’s life,” he said while chairing a meeting about Prime Minister’s Punjab Initiatives in Lahore.

The prime minister reviewed implementation of Punjab government’s targets in the first 100 days.

The meeting discussed various proposals and their implementation for transformation in governance in Punjab and a positive change in the life of common men.

In a statement separately, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government was committed to steer the country out of crisis and put it on path of development and prosperity.

He said the PTI had assumed the government in difficult situation but by dint of hard work those difficulties would be tided over.

The chief minister said that the ruling party wanted to uplift the living standard of people and it wanted the country to progress with better economy.
