LAHORE: Disgruntled Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Zaeem Qadri on Friday said that PML-N workers will not protest over Avenfield reference verdict as they are still confused between two different narratives presented by Shehbaz and Nawaz Sharif, ARY News reported.
“PML-N workers are confused for Shehbaz and Nawaz are presenting two different narratives, Shehbaz has clearly said that his party will contest polls and will not resort to protest,” said Zaeem Qadri while talking to ARY News.
Zaeem Qadri was of the view that party workers are confused as PML-N’s supreme leader forgot sacrifices of those workers who stood for him during the Musharraf dictatorship and instead rewarded Musharraf’s close aides when in came to power in 2013.
Qadri, who left PML-N last month and is now contesting polls as an independent candidate, said that PML-N has lost popularity among masses and people are not even letting party’s candidates enter the constituencies.
