PMLN, PTI once again lock horns in Gujranwala

TOP NEWS

Political opponents of the defiant Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) seem highly perplexed with back-to-back huge rallies of the defiant party. One such example was seen in Gujranwala, when posters and hoardings of the skipper, Imran Khan were either burnt or spoiled by throwing color, along the GT Road as well as in different areas of the Gujranwala city.

Earlier to this, hoardings displaying pictures of Imran Khan were torched in and around General Bus Stand, Trust Plaza and Shaheenabad areas.

Sources told that, unknown people tried to burn only those parts of the hoardings which carried Imran Khan’s images.

With this, workers of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) and Tehreek-i-Insaf seem to have their horns locked, while tension between the rival political groups was also said to be increased ahead of the PTI rally.

Local PTI leaders have alleged that they are being threatened to cancel the rally.

PTI rally in Gujranwala is due on November 23, which the Gujranwala administration already declared as a ‘security risk’, some two days ago.
