PM's 'yes' to talks with PTI 'no' with PAT

Sharif however asked Dr. Tahirul Qadri to explain what type of revolution he wants in the country.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif while speaking during a national security moot in Islamabad announced that he was ready to hold talks with the PTI but signalled no dialogue with Dr. Tahirul Qadri’s Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).

Nawaz said that his government was prepared to discuss any formula to hold talks on the demands of Imran Khan about recounting of votes in 10 National Assembly constituencies.

Prime Minister clearly signalled that his government will not hold talks with Tahirul Qadri’s PAT who has announced to bring a ‘revolution’ in the country.

The prime minister said that the country could not afford any confrontation and demanded PAT to explain what type of the revolution it was talking about.

Imran Khan led PTI has announced long march to Islamabad to protest over alleged irregularities in May 2013 general elections in Pakistan. The party is demanding for recounting of votes in a number of National Assembly constituencies, electoral reforms and reconstitution of the election commission.
