KARACHI: Police on Saturday arrested four sons who stabbed to death their elderly father in Shershah area of the city in a brawl over a family dispute, in the wee hours of Saturday morning, ARY News reported.
Four people were arrested for assailing their father with knife in Shershah neighbourhood of the metropolis.
The victim has been identified as Shakeel, who succumbed to his injuries during the treatment in a hospital, stabbed by his sons after a quarrel broke out between the father and his sons over a family matter.
Police have shifted the assailants to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
Separately, four other suspects were arrested from Ittehad Town area in a crackdown against unscrupulous elements after police recovered a pistol and narcotics from their possession.
In another raid, nabbed three suspects from Khawaja Ajmer Nagri area of the city, seizing narcotics from their possession.
Moreover, police claimed to have killed an alleged robber during an encounter in the industrial area of Korangi.
