KARACHI: In what could be termed apathy of the police, a six-grade student, who went missing outside his home, could not be recovered even after passage of more than one month, ARY News reported.

Talking to the ARY News, the teenage boy’s father said that his son Jaleel Ahmed, a student of class six, went out to purchase books but did not come back.

“Jaleel went outside on August 1 to purchase books and some household things for his sister,” Jaleel’s father told ARY News.

“We searched in the neighbourhood, but the boy was not found. We had also registered a complaint at Shahrah-e-Faisal police station but no progress was made by police to find his missing son.

He has appealed to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Bajwa to take notice of the incident.
