QUETTA: A policeman was killed while another sustained bullet wounds when unidentified armed men opened fire on them at Sariab road of Quetta on Saturday morning.
According to the local police, the police personnel were on a routine patrol when they came under attack.
A police official said unidentified armed men opened fire at the law enforcement personnel and sped away, leaving a policeman dead, while another with bullet injuries.
A rescue team arrived immediately at the spot of the incident and shifted the dead and injured to a nearby hospital.
Their identities couldn’t be ascertained immediately.
