According to Incharge CID Police Raja Umar Khattab, Katti Pahari was under the control of Bhalo Group since 2010. Previously, he was working in a political party but later he was expelled from the party.
“The criminal had barricaded the whole region under his control making it ‘No Go Area’ while Police had placed CCTV cameras to keep an eye on their activities”, he added.
Raja Umar Khattab said Bhalo was also working for Zawal Group of Tehreek-e-Taliban and was also assisting Abbass Afridi for drug trafficking in Katti Pahari. He added that Bhalo was also involved in the murder of Orangi Town Pilot Project Director Perveen Rehman.
On Tuesday night, notorious outlaw Mehfoozulllah Bhaloo was killed in an exchange of fire with a police party at Katti Pahari.
According to details, Bhalo was asked surrender but he opened fire and was killed in counter fire of the policemen.
