Imran Khan, speaking in ARY News program Power Play hosted by anchorperson Arshad Sharif, said that judiciary and media is independent in democratic regimes.

He also said that investigations should be launched against the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in 12 cases. He asked that how can proper accountability be questioned when the chairman of National Accountability Bureau is appointed with the concensus between of the government and opposition. PTI Chairman Khan said that Public Accounts Committee is not allowed to work.

He said that bye-elections in NA-122 were rigged twice. “Irregularities are the second name of rigging”, he added.

Khan said that the attack on Peshawar’s Army Public School rocked the whole country and a National Action Plan (NAP) was formed to hunt down militant wings in the country.

“The whole nation is happy on the crackdown against the terrorist organizations in the country”, he said.

The PTI Chairman said that corruption and tax evasions are the two main problems in the country. He also said that the rulers impose tax for taking loans and they privatize state institutions.

“All records of corruption have been broken in Punjab”, Khan said.

Commenting on the press conference of Mustafa Kamal, he said that ex-mayor of Karachi is making those statements which the party made back in 2007.

He added that MQM takes funding from India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). “I am surprised that Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar wants evidence in this regard”, he added.
