PPP in talks over Senate chairman: Sherry Rehman

Sherry Rehman, speaking at a hotel on women’s day function organized by Sindh ombudsmen on Sunday, said that the candidate for the post of Deputy Chairman of the upper house will also be chosen through talks.

She vowed that the Sindh Government will do everything for improving the standard of living of women in the province. She praised the women for playing a key role in the society for the improvement of social and economic conditions.

“We need to address the social issues”, Rehman added.

She added that different steps are being considered to make women protective laws more effective.
