ISLAMABAD: The members of Pakistan People’s Party staged walk out from National Assembly on Tuesday to protest against privatization of state-owned enterprises, ARY News reported.
The PPP lawmakers led by the Leader of the Opposition in the lower house staged walk out to protest against the government’s plans to privatize the public sector entities.
Khursheed Shah speaking in National Assembly today said that the government planning to sell 89 public sector entities, which will trigger a storm of joblessness.
The state-owned enterprises being privatized to fulfill the economic reforms agenda of the Pakistan Muslim League government, the government sources said.
