President Mamnoon to address joint parliamentary session tomorrow

President’s address with the joint session of the parliament at the end of parliamentary year is a constitutional requirement. Tomorrow’s address will be the second address of President Mamnoon with the parliament.

Presidential address will mark the beginning of a new parliamentary year.

The 14th national assembly last month completed its second parliamentary year.

President Mamnoon Hussain will provide guidance to the parliament for the next parliamentary year. Foreign envoys, governors, chief ministers and higher civil-military officials will also be present on the occasion.

Earlier to this, former president Asif Ali Zardari had the honor to address the joint parliamentary session for six times.
