President Trump now has a Snapchat account

Donald Trump became the President of the United States and took on some very crucial responsibilities.
And now President Trump is also on Snapchat under “realdonaldtrump.”
Trump took to Snapchat to share two videos of his drive from the White House to the inauguration ceremony. Trump who is an avid Twitter user has already said that he plans to keep on tweeting when in office.
Trump’s election campaign was punctuated by a stream of Twitter messages on countering critics. He has used Twitter to communicate his views, including scathing opinions of rivals and call out media companies.
Now, Trump seems to have taken a liking to the disappearing photo and video app. The Trump campaign had purchased a nationwide custom Snapchat filter for the first presidential debate.

These videos were also included in the story curated by Snapchat for Inauguration Day. The account is categorized as an official story, meaning that the account is verified by Snapchat.
It also means Trump receives a special emoji next to his name and has a flying money sign instead of the American flag.

Social media switch-up
Apart from this Twitter account, an official was also set on Friday. The @POTUS account has more than 14.4 million followers but Trump is still using his personal account which has 21 million followers. He has 18.2 million likes on his Facebook page.
The first post on President Trump’s official account was an image with a link to the full transcript of his inauguration speech. A background picture from Obama’s 2009 inauguration has now been changed with an image that appears to show him standing in The White House’s Red Room.
The White House’s Instagram account has also switched hands, and all posts created under Obama have been moved to a separate account.
