According to ISPR, the accused person identified as Taj Muhammad was arrested near Peshawar. He was staying in an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in a village named Pwakai.
He had confessed that he was a member of Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) since 2008 and was involved in terrorist attacks in Peshawar and North Waziristan, ISPR stated.
It should be noted that at least 150 people including 135 children and nine staff members were killed when Taliban gunmen stormed Peshawar’s Army Public School on 16th December 2014.
