Priyanka celebrates Twitter hallmark

The ‘Mary Kom’actress and singer is the second most-followed female celebrity in India, after Deepika Padukone (7.3m).

After surpassing the milestone, Chopra tweeted: “Thank you all for #7MillionPCManiacs… Our family is getting larger. Your love keeps me going.”

The Dostana star has sent over 12,700 tweets in just under six years of being active on the site.

Other popular Bollywood stars on Twitter include Sonam Kapoor (4.8m), Sonakshi Sinha (3.1m) and Preity Zinta (3m).

Amitabh Bachchan remains the most popular Indian celebrity on Twitter, having recently surpassed the 10 million mark.
